As we move into the winter rain the trail will be muddy and slippery. Some of the creeks may be difficult to cross.   This time of year there are not as many hikers on the trail so if you are alone and run into difficulty or get hurt, your chances of getting help from other hikers is minimal.   Plan your winter hike for winter conditions.
